Health literacy links our level of literacy with our ability to act upon health information and, ultimately, take control of our health. This webinar will be offered by one of Canada's leading researchers on health literacy, Dr.  Irving Rootman, Adjunct Professor in Education and Human and Social Development at the University of Victoria.  Dr. Rootman is also the co-chair of the Expert Panel on Health Literacy at the Canadian Public Health Association.
