Sheila Lupson Healthy Community Recognition AwardSheila Lupson Healthy Community Recognition Award

The Sheila Lupson Healthy Community Recognition Award was established in memory of Sheila Lupson, a long time member of the OHCC Board of Directors, who passed away on April 28, 2009. Sheila was a dedicated community volunteer and advocate who was genuinely committed to building Healthy Communities.

The purpose of this award is to focus attention on the characteristics and processes of a Healthy Community and to recognize members who have exemplified the key elements of a Healthy Community approach in their work. Each year one member is selected to be recognized at the OHCC Annual General Meeting, with other outstanding members receiving honourable mention. The selected members will be profiled on the website along with some of the Healthy Community initiatives we will gather during the selection process.
