OHCC provides bilingual services and educational resources to communities that are pursuing local Healthy Community goals. Services are provided to community organizations, coalitions and networks through our Central office and Regional Consultants. OHCC supports Healthy Community initiatives through:

Membership

OHCC is connected to the international Healthy Cities / Communities movement.  Membership in OHCC brings you into this network of individuals, groups and municipalities working to improve the quality of life of their communities.

Webinars

OHCC  provides online facilitated workshops using a combination of teleconferencing and  webconferencing software to create an interactive learning experience from the comfort of your own home or office.


Online Courses

OHCC offers several stand alone, self- guided online courses which are  have been divided into easy to follow modules, and offer a variety of exercises, quizzes, case studies and resources.


Publications

OHCC produces a number of educational publications to assist community groups and coalitions in their efforts to improve the well-being of their communities.


Monthly Ebulletin

The monthly eBulletin is an informative, interesting publications, which provides members with news, events, and resources related to Healthy Communities and OHCC.


Healthy Communties Newsletter

Each "Healthy Communities" Newsletter focuses on specific theme related Healthy Communities,  features local initiatives, events, news and resources related to the specific theme for that issue.


Community Stories

OHCC community stories describe a wide variety of initiatives and projects across the province and are used as a means of sharing information, tools, resources and learning, and to demonstrate successful practices.
