Who We Are
Our Staff
OHCC currently has 4 staff in our Central Office in Toronto who manage all administration, resources, publications, education materials and a communications network. A full time project staff in a satellite office in Scarbourough and two full time Community Animators and regional consultants who live and work in regions across Ontario, supporting multi-sectoral collaborations to strengthen local economies, deal with social issues and improve the environment.

Our Members
OHCC is connected to the Healthy Cities / Communities movement both here in Ontario and around the world. Membership in OHCC brings you into this network of individuals, groups and municipalities working to improve the quality of life of their communities. OHCC has two types of membership:
Network Membership is for individuals ndividuals and organizations that support Healthy Community Principles and the mission of OHCC.
Coalition Membership is for organizations, coalitions, associations or networks wishing to work in partnership with OHCC to foster healthy communities in Ontario and strive to apply the Healthy Communities Principles and mission in their work by:
- seeking representation from three or more sectors; e,g, health, economic, environmental, social, government.
- identifying community priorities and working with others to make their communities better places to live, work and play
- Recognizing the role of municipal government in creating Healthy Community
- Encouraging the development of healthy public policy·
